Zimbabwean Student Coming to London!!

Linos Sibanda, a medical student from Bulawayo, will be coming to London for a 10 week elective placement this summer! He will be spending 6 weeks at King's College Hospital and 4 weeks at Northwick Park Hospital.

We wish to thank the Canon Collins Trust for their generous support and invite contact with any other interested parties who would be willing to support future students.

Aims & Objectives 2011 / 2012

1. To raise awareness of Zimbabwean health provision challeneges amongst medical students in the UK
2. To establish links with students from all health care disciplines in Zimbabwe in line with models proposed by the Tropical Health and Education Trust (THET)
3. To encourage and facilitate collaboration in learning and research between students in Zimbabwe and the UK.
4. To help with the provision of resources and learning materials (e.g. collecting books, sharing electronic resources and fundraising for library equipment and computers)
